EDUCATOR MONTESSORI AMI 6-12 English speaker
Orange Class 6-9 years
I am an AMI Elementary 6-12 certified guide. I graduated from the Montessori Institute of North Texas in Dallas. I discovered the Montessori world in 2019, after working 3 years in traditional French education.
As children, I was exposed to an alternative way of thinking and learning through a friend. I have taught at all levels, from kindergarten to adults, and I find it very rewarding to help children discover their role in this vast universe.
I have also taught in marginalized neighborhoods, San Francisco, Paris and rich countries. I was fortunate to have myself been educated and brought up in a bilingual culture, English, Spanish, having grown up in the southwestern United States. I’m from California. In 2016, I left San Francisco and discovered a new phase of life in France. I got a dual degree in Italian and French at San Francisco State University and shortly after I got my TEFL/TESOL. Leeds, United Kingdom.
I have taught and directed apprenticeship programs here in France, Italy, California and the United Kingdom. I had the pleasure of guiding children in their learning of several subjects in a bilingual environment. It is very rewarding to help a child overcome obstacles and personal fears. In my spare time, I ride a bike, I do history, I draw and I try to learn a little German.

EDUCATOR MONTESSORI AMI 6-12 English speaker
Orange Class 6-9 years
Originally from Vence, I grew up in a Franco-Spanish family. I devoted the beginning of my studies to understanding the human being in order to understand his ills, to help him to be a fulfilled individual taking his place in the world. Psychological studies have shown me that the construction of the human being takes place from childhood. After studying the different educators who have revolutionized education in the course of mankind, it is Dr. Montessori’s book that struck me, because it corresponds to the need of development of children in order to make them suitable individuals for our constantly changing society. The AMI training of Elementary Educator Montessori 6-12 taught me the characteristics of children of these ages, stakes of this development plan. Maria Montessori spoke of the need to transform adults to become educators and help children.
This happened thanks to the richness, complexity and rigour of this pedagogy. I graduated as an AMI 6-12 educator in 2019. I then worked as a Montessori educator in Guadeloupe, before returning to my hometown in 2021 to join the Orange Class Hummingbirds team where I have been teaching ever since. My development continues to grow as I carry out this role with children, who each have their own way of functioning and infinite individual resources.
