The Elementary School welcomes children aged 6 to 12 years for a total bilingual immersion education.

Each group has a maximum of 18 children per adult.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (8:20 a.m. to 4:20 p.m.) Wednesday (8:20 a.m. to 12 p.m.)

Montessori pedagogy and bilingual teaching in French and English

Music activities, theater, painting, science, swimming, judo

School lunch: choice between “lunch box” or organic caterer

We also organize a field trip every trimester.

I have been teaching for almost 13 years. Holder of a Master of Mathematics specializing in education, I started as a teacher of Mathematics College and High School in the National Education. I worked there for almost a year. Always looking for tools to improve my practice, I came across Maria Montessori’s pedagogy by chance. I was deeply moved by this pedagogy fully at the service of children. So I joined the 2019-2021 training at CFMF where I ended up holding a Montessori AMI 6-12 educator’s diploma. With my diploma in my pocket, I left the National Education to work in Montessori schools with children from 6 to 12 years old. I am delighted to be part of the Montessori Biot Colibris team since the beginning of the 2022 academic year and to have the opportunity to develop with dedicated and competent teachers.

I always thought we were here for a reason. Fresh out of university (1995), I joined a consulting firm and was in the process of getting my Master’s degree in Organizational Change and People Management when I discovered Montessori. The more I learned about Montessori pedagogy and philosophy, the more I wanted to adopt it, not only as an educational method but as a way of life. I received a scholarshiattend the Montessori Advanced Elementary Course at the Fondazione Centro Internazionale Studi Montessoriani in Italy (2002-2003)Twenty years later, now the mother of two teenagers and one elementary school child, my belief in the Montessori method has not weakened. I‘ve seen it work in class, at home and even online !
My move to Colibris (2022) is filled with the same enthusiasm for teaching and learning that I had many years ago.I have confidence in the environment, the children and the other adults who accompany me. Together, we will help children reach their full potential.
