What the parents built

An outdoor library, a garage painted into a forest, snacks, a carnival, a school fair. None of it was planned by the school: the families made it happen.

Monthly breakfasts & snacks

A regular get-together in the playground, so families can meet beyond the school gate.

Snack time at school

Board games, workshops and a shared snack, for a whole afternoon.

The carnival

Families were invited to a Nature-themed carnival snack. Everyone came in costume.

The garage repainted as a forest

Parents repainted the garage and the library with tree paintings, to create a warm, nature-inspired atmosphere.

The library project

A new library set up and filled with books, opening onto the playground.

The outdoor library

Built thanks to the parents of the Emerald class. Books from the outdoor library can be borrowed, and the ones you no longer need at home are welcome.

The school fair

Bouncy castles, face painting, sensory games, throwing games, skill games, potato-sack races and cooperative tower building.

The spring festival

A collective flower mural, edible-flower tasting, bookmarks to make, spring seeds to sow — and a photo workshop so every family leaves with their portrait.
