Les Colibris International Montessori School places great importance on protecting your personal data. This policy informs you, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, how we collect, use and protect your data.
1. Data controller

- Information provided through the contact, visit-booking and admission forms

- Performance of pre-contractual measures and of the schooling contract (enrolment, admission)
- Our legitimate interest (improving and securing our services)
5. Data concerning minors
The forms may collect data relating to your child (first name, date of birth, school level). This data is provided by the parent or legal guardian, who consents to the processing on behalf of the child. It is used solely to handle your request (visit, admission, schooling) and is never shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

- The school’s administrative and teaching team
- Our technical providers (hosting, email), bound by confidentiality
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), which provides anti-spam protection for our forms: your IP address and technical browsing data are sent to it when you view a page containing a form, for the sole purpose of telling a visitor from a bot (see § 10)
- The competent authorities where required by law
7. Retention period
- Contact and visit requests: 3 years from the last exchange
- Enrolment files: duration of schooling + 5 years
- Cookies: 13 months maximum
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

- Right to withdraw your consent at any time

9. Cookies
The site places a single cookie, which remembers your language preference (French or English) for twelve months. Strictly necessary for the site to work, it does not require your consent. We use no audience-measurement or advertising cookies, and the site contains no trackers.
Videos are not loaded until you ask for them: each slot shows a preview image hosted on this site, together with a notice stating that playback will call on YouTube. Only when you click is the player loaded — your click then constitutes consent, and only at that moment does the platform receive your IP address and become able to place its own cookies, subject to its own privacy policy. You may also configure your browser to refuse cookies.
10. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures (secure HTTPS connection, restricted access) to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or destruction.
Our forms are protected against automated submissions by Cloudflare Turnstile, a service provided by Cloudflare, Inc. (United States). It runs on pages containing a form and analyses technical browsing signals to check that the request comes from a person rather than a program. It places no cookie on your device. This protection relies on our legitimate interest in keeping our forms working and preventing fraudulent use of our mail system. Transfers to the United States are governed by the contractual safeguards provided for by the GDPR.
